Versatile rings woven from kuba, a native Okinawan plant of the palm family. The rings are used to make trivets, kuba basket bases and ornaments.

The ring is called a guanshina in Okinawa. Guan means hair and shina means goods in the local language, and the name comes from the fact that people used this ring to carry goods on their heads.
