A dense, short-haired embroidery thread like velvet, with a fluffy feel. FUKAFUKA can be used for any kind of stitch. When stitching to fill an area or a point, the result will be a shiny and tactile finish.
[Additional cautions]
・Please use the Chenille needles No.20 (sold separately).
・We recommend that you work with no more than 40cm of FUKAFUKA thread at a time. This is to prevent a single thread being over-worked as it is pulled through the fabric with each stitch. Thread the needle delicately, as being forceful may cause the thread’s hair to be scraped off.
・FUKAFUKA is not suitable for thick fabrics such as canvas.
・Threads and fabric prints are sensitive to heat. Ironing should be done from the reverse side at low temperature.
